PLC Controls Engineer

Overview

Position : Control Engineer (Student at St. Joseph’s College Of Engineering) at Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group.

Responsibilities

• Create new and modify existing PLC code to achieve desired results.
• Create new and modify existing schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD.
• Prepare specifications for the purchase of electrical equipment and materials, including the preparation of a Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Perform hands-on work with industrial equipment.
• Proficient in programming PLCs, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
• Experienced in using AutoCAD for designing schematics and panel layouts.
• Skilled in programming and troubleshooting robotics and HMIs.
• Knowledgeable in Allen-Bradley, HMI, PLC, Siemens, AutoCAD, ladder logic, and Fanuc.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or DraftSight.
• Ability to modify or troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley / Siemens).
• Travel up to 50% for on-site / custom automation design on the floor with direct access to upper management and exposure to cutting-edge technology in the automation industry.
