Position overview

We are seeking a skilled Middle Node.js Developer with experience in AWS and Terraform to join our distributed User Services team. In this role, you will develop and maintain backend services focused on subscription and payment solutions, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software delivery within an agile environment aligned with EST / EDT working hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team through our agile framework to scope projects and deliver software within the subscription and payments problem space using technologies such as : Node.js, SQL, AWS and Terraform
• Collaborate with engineers on the User Services team to ensure system quality and performance through code reviews, documentation, analysis, and enforcement of engineering best practices for high-quality software.
• Maintain SLAs for our applications; add logging, metrics, and alerts to proactively identify and resolve errors.
• Participate in on-call rotation to handle system and operations issues, including responding to off-hours alerts.
• Build internal administrative tools for customer support, account management, and other business users.
• Collaborate with other teams on dependent work, integrations, and remain vigilant about activities outside the team that could impact User Services.
