SWBC is seeking a talented individual to be responsible for Surplus Lines Tax compliance. Pursuing this role as a Tax Analyst can be highly rewarding for individuals who enjoy combining analytical skills with regulatory knowledge. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in the niche area of insurance and taxes law while working closely with a supportive and cohesive team.Reconciles tax reports to the general ledger and prepares payment and correcting journal entries for assigned states. Prepares quarterly, semiannual, or annual surplus lines tax reports for assigned states. Prepares surplus lines tax accounts monthly reconciliation and coordinates with data control to correct any set-up, programming, or downloading errors. Prepares stamping fee invoices and submission for payment. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Zero to one (0-1) years of experience in premium accounting or tax accounting. Strong planning, organization, and follow up skills.SWBC is a Substance-Free Workplace and requires pre-employment drug testing.
