Role : Head of R&D and Product Development – Mexico (Battery-Driven FailSafe Energy Systems)

Location : Monterrey (LATAM HQ), Mexico

Role Purpose : As a key member of the global technology leadership team, the Head of R&D and Product Development will architect and lead Clarios’ strategic product development capability in Mexico. This executive role is accountable for transforming the regional footprint into a globally integrated innovation hub, delivering intelligent fail-safe energy systems. The role will oversee a rapidly scaling organization expected to exceed 100+ FTEs, spanning embedded systems, functional safety, systems engineering, and advanced testing.

Strategic Responsibilities

Enterprise Leadership & Vision

• Define and execute a multi-phase strategy to build Mexico’s product development center from testing-only to full-cycle innovation and design.
• Serve as a key voice in global product strategy, influencing roadmap decisions, investment priorities, and technology platforms.
• Represent Mexico’s product development capabilities in global governance forums, ensuring alignment with CTO-level objectives and enterprise-wide innovation goals.
