REMOTE Product Design Director

Job Description We are looking for a Product Design Director to help build a next-generation experience that will transform the investment culture in Mexico and seize an unprecedented opportunity to dramatically impact the financial independence of everyone in the country.

He / She will be in charge of setting the design vision, strategy, workflow and team structure to achieve world-class design status for the business. Lastly, He / She will help us to scale a rapidly growing design team by defining clear culture, attracting the best design talent, and delivering amazing user experiences.

Being the primary voice of design, evangelizing about its importance on the product while articulating his / her vision.

Contribute to the company strategy with an ongoing process of relentless refinement and evolution in his / her ability to abstract design (i.e. pioneering experience ideas, driving paradigm shifts, concept development, etc.)

Facilitate and guide the company to evolve and mature it ́s UX / UI processes to become a high standard mark within Mexican market.

Understanding his / her peers in the other disciplines and translating their message to user centered quality design.

Create a culture of inspiration, insight, and authority on design and user experience.

Influence the product strategy, deliver high-quality design work, and understand how to solve a range of product challenges across iOS, Android, web, mobile web, and email.

Partner with product management, engineering, and analytics to accelerate the creation, development, and iteration of our products.

Partner with product management to create long term product strategy to help achieve our ambitious mission of changing consumer financial health.

Manage and inspire a product design team.

12+ years of experience designing consumer and / or SaaS products at world-class design-focused companies.

~ Familiarized with (user centered) OKRs & KPIs in terms of product quality and customer satisfaction.

~ Familiarized with Experiment -Driven Design

~ Ability to recruit, hire and retain multi-disciplinary design teams.

~ Experience managing a team across multiple disciplines (UI, UX, Content, Research, Behavioral Science, etc)

~ A passion for accelerating team efficiency by improving processes and workflows within the design team and cross-functionally.

~ Hands-on with design work, willingness to roll up your sleeves.
