Company : A Fortune 500 company with over 11,000 employees globally and $7B in annual revenue.

Overview : The company is seeking a talented Legal Director to be the lead advisor for the Mexico & Central America region, managing all legal, compliance, and privacy matters. Reporting to the VP & General Counsel, Latin America, this individual will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while managing a team of lawyers. This role also supports the Latin America shared services center and plays a key role in aligning global strategies with local execution.

Experience : The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in corporate legal functions in regulated industries such as food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, ingredients or manufacturing, among others. Prior experience in a global legal / compliance function is preferred. Experience with multinational companies is a strong plus.

Compensation : A competitive compensation package is offered for this position commensurate with experience, and will include base salary, annual target cash bonus, and equity.

Location / Relocation : Candidates should be based in Guadalajara (preferably), Mexico City or San Nicolas. Relocation is provided within the country.This is an in-office position (3 days a week) with the ability to work remotely the other two days.
