Procurement Excellence Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Excellence Specialist to drive excellence in procurement at our Querétaro facility.

Job Summary :

The Procurement Excellence Specialist will play a critical role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining supplier partnerships that ensure operational continuity and cost efficiency.

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Research, qualify, and establish strong relationships with new suppliers in the region
  • Strengthen existing partnerships to maximize value, service, and reliability
  • Source and secure new components and materials for our Querétaro plant operations
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve procurement efficiency
  • Lead negotiations for commercial agreements with or without formal contracts
  • Ensure all supplier documentation, including regulatory and process requirements, is accurate and up-to-date
  • Stay on top of market trends and translate them into actionable strategies
  • Track supplier performance, address issues, and implement corrective measures when necessary
  • Partner with manufacturing operations to resolve supplier-related challenges quickly and effectively

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or corporate buying
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills
  • Knowledge of supplier qualification, sourcing strategies, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Bilingual Spanish / English strongly preferred
