Overview
We are looking for a technically skilled and detail‑oriented Automation Specialist to lead the setup and implementation of automated email and SMS marketing flows, as well as the creation and maintenance of performance reports. This is a remote position ideally for someone located in the LATAM region and comfortable working in Eastern Time. The ideal candidate has experience working with various email and SMS marketing platforms, has had experience with platform migrations, and demonstrates strong attention to detail and effective organizational practices.
Responsibilities
- Build, edit, and optimize email and SMS automation flows. Oversee the entire configuration process, from templates to final implementation.
- Ensure accurate campaign setup and thoroughly test each campaign to validate that all elements function correctly.
- Identify and resolve errors or issues in automation configurations promptly.
- Design and implement precise rules to create audience segments that accurately meet the desired targeting criteria.
- Develop and implement effective A / B testing strategies for email campaigns, ensuring that each variant is accurately set up and aligned with the testing objectives.
- Configure UTMs following best practices to ensure accurate tracking and proper attribution of campaign results across platforms.
- Support data integrations across platforms and ensure seamless automation execution.
- Migrate data, flows, and templates between automation platforms.
- Develop structured reports that visualize key email and SMS metrics and revenue attribution, enabling clear performance insights and data‑driven decision making.
- Document experiment results for future reference and learning.
- Continuously track deliverability metrics such as inbox placement, bounce rates, and sender reputation to identify issues early and ensure optimal email performance.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing platforms.Proficiency in platforms such as Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, and / or Postscript. Experience with multiple platforms is a strong plus.Experience working with CDPs / CDIs (e.g., Segment, Snowplow, HighTouch, Census, mParticle). Familiarity with more than one platform is preferred.Solid experience collaborating with tech teams : defining data requirements, using APIs, and troubleshooting data issues across ESPs and CDPs / CDIs.2+ years of hands‑on experience with email deliverability best practices, Google Postmaster, and Microsoft SNDS. Knowledge of GlockApps is a plus.Proven experience leading or contributing to email platform migrations, ensuring data integrity and functionality. Participation in 2+ migrations is a plus.Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel, with the ability to build and manage structured performance reports.Strong analytical mindset : ability to develop, QA, and analyze campaign performance metrics.Quick learner and proactive in adapting to new tools and platforms.Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to work cross‑functionally to support client initiatives and meet deadlines.Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).Perks
