Scope of the Role
We’re seeking a UX / UI Designer to lead the design and optimization of the digital customer journey. This role will ensure that the e-commerce platform reflects the brand’s premium identity while delivering an intuitive, high-performing shopping experience. You’ll collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and creative teams to improve site functionality, design user flows, and maintain consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
User Experience & Journey Design
- Audit current site flows and identify friction points and drop-off areas
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for new features and product pages
- Design intuitive navigation, filtering, and personalized product recommendations
User Interface & Visual Design
Ensure visual consistency across desktop and mobile experiencesDevelop UI elements (buttons, icons, layouts, grids) aligned with brand identityIntegrate storytelling modules, educational content, and testimonialsTesting & Optimization
Support A / B testing of layouts, visuals, and UX featuresMonitor KPIs (bounce rate, time on page, add-to-cart, conversion) to guide iterationsImplement usability testing and gather customer feedbackCross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with developers to ensure smooth implementationAlign with marketing, lifecycle, and content teams to support campaignsCoordinate with leadership to align design priorities with business goalsRequirements
3–5+ years of experience in UX / UI design, preferably in DTC, e-commerce, or lifestyle brandsStrong portfolio showcasing web and mobile design projects with performance outcomesProficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar toolsSolid understanding of user-centered design, conversion optimization, and responsive designExperience collaborating with developers and working on platforms like ShopifyAnalytical mindset with comfort using data to guide design decisionsStrong communication skills to present design rationale to creative and business stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications
Experience in food, nutrition, or wellness brandsFamiliarity with CRO tools and testing methodologiesAbility to balance brand storytelling with performance goalsComfort working in fast-paced, remote environmentsInterest in shaping the future of a mission-driven digital experience
