What you\'ll do

We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Data Scientist with strong data engineering and analytical capabilities to support our business intelligence and reporting needs. This role is critical to helping business stakeholders make data-informed decisions by delivering robust data visualizations, clean data pipelines, and insightful analytics. As a backfill, the selected candidate will be expected to quickly integrate into the team, understand ongoing reporting and analytics needs, and take ownership of existing dashboards and analytics solutions while also contributing new ideas and improvements

Utilize Python libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, etc.) to ingest, clean, manipulate, and analyze large, complex datasets across various business units.Develop repeatable data workflows and scripts to automate recurring data preparation tasks.

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that tell compelling, business-relevant stories.Translate business requirements into KPIs, metrics, and visual components that drive actionable insights.

Stakeholder Engagement :

Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams—including product managers, operations, marketing, and finance—to gather requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.Participate in workshops, design sessions, and review meetings to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

Data Governance & Quality :

Ensure all solutions adhere to data quality, consistency, and governance standards.

Implement validation steps and error-checking to ensure accurate and trustworthy analytics.

Storytelling & Communication :

Present analytical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, leveraging storytelling techniques and data visualization best practices.

Create clear documentation of analytics processes, data sources, and logic behind key dashboards.

What you\'ll bring

Proven experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data model optimization.

Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.

Familiarity with data storytelling, information design, and user-centric dashboarding approaches.

Experience working with structured and semi-structured datasets (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, APIs, JSON, etc.).

Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical data insights into business language.

Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Familiarity with source control (e.g., Git), CI / CD pipelines, or deployment of Power BI reports via Power BI Service is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud platforms is required—AWS preferred, but experience with other cloud providers is also acceptable.

Self-starter with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.

Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting to shifting priorities.
