About the Role

As a key member of our global team, you will play a pivotal part in delivering world-class upgrade solutions that drive operational excellence and cost savings for our customers. Your expertise in gas turbine engineering, combined with your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will enable you to analyze complex technical requirements and develop innovative upgrade strategies.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, project management, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of all components and deliverables. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will guarantee the correct turbine configuration and compatibility of upgrade components, resulting in optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for assigned upgrade projects from change order execution through final validation and customer acceptance.
• Develop and implement upgrade strategies aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to verify component definitions and delivery schedules, ensuring timely completion of outage projects.
• Perform thermodynamic calculations and evaluations of gas turbines based on operational data to inform upgrade decisions.
• Work closely with I&C engineering to ensure seamless integration of controls changes required to support upgrade implementation.
• Support performance testing and commissioning activities to validate upgrade effectiveness.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering (or related field) and 5+ years of experience in gas turbine engineering, preferably in upgrades, field service, or similar roles. Strong product knowledge, software proficiency, and tools familiarity are essential, as well as excellent collaboration and communication skills.
