Job Title : Design Engineer CAD

About the Role :

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to develop complex designs, layouts and stack-ups of individual components and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Developing accurate designs and layouts
• Checking detail drawings and layouts
• Determining critical dimension and tolerance information
• Maintaining CAD / CAM files and performing training on advanced methods
• Providing smooth interchange of ideas and information between supervisor, engineers and co-workers
• Developing and maintaining customer and internal guide files, drafting standards, work instructions and other tools
• Brainstorming new design concepts and assisting in the creation and management of prototype BOMs
• Working in Siemens Teamcenter to manage work orders, drawings, BOM structure and 3D models
• Collaborating with Driveline Engineering team members on continuous improvement projects

Requirements :

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of engineering experience in the automotive sector or a global manufacturing environment, including hands-on experience with EV and ICE powertrain systems.

They should hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and possess advanced proficiency in 2D / 3D CAD modeling and technical drawing using NX primarily and CATIA as preferred.

A strong analytical mindset for component and subsystem design and evaluation is also essential.

Prior experience in creating and maintaining DFMEA documentation, Teamcenter knowledge, and proficient use of Microsoft office products are highly desirable.
