Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and execute test strategies for APIs, services, data pipelines, and user interfaces.

Perform data validation and reconciliation across AWS-native data stores (such as S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift, etc.).

Develop automated tests for backend services, APIs, and front-end user interfaces.

Collaborate with developers and architects to review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to identify quality gaps early.

Investigate, document, and track defects, drive root cause analysis and resolution.

Implement best practices in test automation and continuous integration.

Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to building a culture of quality across the organisation.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of QA engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.

Strong expertise in API / service testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.

Solid experience with AWS data services (S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift, or other AWS-native data stores).

Proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques.

Hands-on experience with UI testing (manual and automated) using frameworks such as Selenium or Mable.

Strong programming / scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with test automation frameworks and building automation from scratch.

Exposure to cloud-native architectures and microservices.

ISTQB or other relevant QA / testing certifications.
