Role OverviewThe Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for the financial control activities of ServCo Canada, a multi-million dollar entity with a significant cost base.
The role holder will perform operational accounting and financial reporting tasks.Key Responsibilities : Manage the General Ledger and ensure timely period-end submissions and reporting.Perform financial operations associated with statutory, regulatory, and internal audit requirements.Oversee offshore operational accounting team activities.Coordinate billing and reporting to support the TSA.Ensure financial information is provided to stakeholders in an easily understandable format.Liaise with inter-company contacts to obtain relevant financial information.Collaborate with global businesses and functions to provide reliable planning data.Work effectively with other entities controllers, the ServCo Finance team, and the Accounting & Control teams.Required Skills and Qualifications : Professional experience within the financial services sector.Ability to develop effective working relationships with business partners.Proven ability to bring sound judgement based on expert knowledge of the Group's operations and accounting policies.Ability to bring lateral thinking and analytical rigor to complex areas.Benefits : HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
