Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Science professional to drive the development and deployment of advanced analytical solutions in the supply chain domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical and machine learning techniques, with a particular focus on time series forecasting .

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain production-level statistical and machine learning models, with emphasis on time series forecasting and supply chain applications (demand planning a plus).
  • Develop reusable analytical toolkits and frameworks to accelerate modeling efforts across the organization.
  • Perform ETL, data wrangling, and feature engineering to prepare high-quality datasets for modeling.
  • Apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques (Random Forest, Decision Trees, XGBoost, LightGBM, ARIMA, ARIMAX, Holt-Winters, regression, hypothesis testing, etc.) to solve complex business problems. Deep Learning experience is a plus.
  • Ensure model explainability and communicate insights in a business-consumable format through dashboards and visualizations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design distributed machine learning solutions.
  • Utilize version control (git) and be familiar with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins and Docker.
  • Work in an Agile environment to prioritize and manage analytics projects efficiently.
  • Translate data insights into actionable business recommendations and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years building solutions in the supply chain domain; demand planning experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years delivering production-level analytical solutions, proficient with git; familiarity with Jenkins and Docker is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience with ETL / data wrangling.
  • 5+ years applying statistical and ML techniques (regression, classification, clustering, tree-based models, time series forecasting, hypothesis testing).
  • 4+ years of experience in model explainability.
  • Proficiency in Python for business-centered modeling.
  • Experience designing and supporting technical architecture, including distributed ML solutions.
  • Data visualization and storytelling, with experience using at least one visualization tool (Tableau, Superset, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to navigate ambiguity while managing multiple priorities.
