Job Summary
- The position is responsible for the planning, alignment and execution of Supply Chain activities related to approved and funded projects. Projects can include new product introductions, product line extensions, network optimization, acquisitions, divestiture, product design changes and lifecycle management.
- This person works directly with overall program / project leaders, global and regional supply & demand planners, supply network planners, Master Data Management team, Regulatory Affairs & Quality teams and business partners to ensure strong working relationships and processes, resulting in achievement of final project objectives and key important Supply Chain metrics.
Job Responsibilities
Planning and Execution
Use Global Supply Chain Projects Planning processes to enact product changes and supply chain flow modifications, ensuring flawless transitions from the current to future state.Support demand, supply, and inventory strategies to create a robust, efficient, and compliant end-to-end supply chain.Support the launch, phase-in / phase-out plans, and prepare for operational supply chain and PLAN launch readiness.Collaboration and Communication
Significantly align with Supply Network Planning, Production Planning, Purchasing, and External Operations Planning to appropriately utilize capacity and capability.Communicate optimally with business partners (Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Global / Regional PLAN, DELIVER) to ensure alignment and agreement on upcoming changes.Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.Risk Management and Continuous Improvement
Identify and proactively mitigate risks throughout the entire supply chain.Identify and drive continuous improvements in the processes of Global Supply Chain Projects.Support scenario planning analysis as needed.Compliance and Quality Assurance
Ensure that activities performed are aligned with the Ethicon Quality System.Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.Team Development
Coach, train, and assist Supply Chain Project Specialists and Supply Chain Project Leaders.Qualifications
Education : A minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree and / or an equivalent university degree is required, with a focus on Business, Finance, Logistics, or Engineering preferred. MBA preferred.

Minimum four (4) (6) years of relevant professional work experience.Working experience in Supply Chain Management, Planning / Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Finance; preferably in a multinational company.Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across multiple functional organizations in a multicultural and global environment.Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining an awareness of the "big picture," with the ability to cope with complexity and prioritize tasks effectively.A sense of urgency and strong partnering and influencing skills, along with the capability to minimize and manage risks within a project methodological context.Preferred
Project Management experience and / or LEAN material flow and / or planning & scheduling knowledge and / or Process Excellence certification or proven understanding.Knowledge and proficiency of ERP and APS planning tools.Advanced Excel knowledge, basic Access.Other
