SDET Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer / SDET to drive frontend test automation, CI / CD integration, observability, and contract testing for highly distributed systems. You will partner with engineering teams building sub-apps, app shells, and shared services to ensure quality, reliability, and seamless user experiences across independently deployable components.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with NextJS, React, Module Federation, and micro frontend architectures .
• Advanced automation experience with Playwright, Jest, React Testing Library .
• Proficiency with CI / CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) , containerized environments, and IaC-driven deployments ( Terraform, CDK ).
• Experience testing SSR / SSG applications, caching strategies (Akamai, S3, CDN), and edge rendering scenarios.
• Solid understanding of contract testing, API / mocking strategies, and federation boundary validation .
• Strong knowledge of observability tooling (DataDog, CloudWatch, Splunk) and ability to define test-driven monitoring.
• Familiarity with feature flagging systems (LaunchDarkly) , analytics validation (Adobe, Google Analytics) , and performance monitoring (BlueTriangle, Quantum Metrics).
• Comfortable working in multi-team federated environments with independent deployments and shared infrastructure.
