The Quality Manager will be responsible for building, maintaining, and championing the Plant's Quality Management System. This role requires an expert in IATF 16949 who can ensure the highest standards of product quality and reliability for our heated and massage seat systems, serving as the primary point of contact for customer quality requirements and issues. Build, maintain, and audit the plant's Quality Management System in full compliance with IATF 16949 standards.
Serve as the primary contact for customer quality issues, audits, and concerns, with a strong focus on the functional safety and reliability of heating and massage functions.
Lead root cause analysis and implement robust corrective & preventive actions (using 8D, 5Why) for internal and external quality failures.
Manage the entire Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process, including PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions for new projects.
Oversee all quality control activities, including incoming, in-process, and final inspection, with a focus on electronic and mechanical component reliability.
Build and manage a strong and efficient quality team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
7+ years of quality management experience in the automotive industry, preferably with electronic components.A proven track record of leading or playing a key role in manufacturing plants (from scratch) is highly preferred.
Expertise in IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), and VDA standards.
Strong background in quality engineering for automotive electronics, with a focus on functional safety and durability.
Excellent analytical, communication, and supplier management skills.
