The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment (in particular is important to have experience in engines maintenance). The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs.
Responsibilities
You will be part of the AB Energy Mexico Maintenance Team and will perform the following activities :
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, including, but not limited to, the generator and plant auxiliaries.
- Maintain, analyze, evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment at our clients' facilities.
- Perform minor and major overhauls of the generator.
- Assist the Service Area Manager (SAM) in calculating spare parts and estimating labor hours required for equipment and system repairs.
- Maintain, establish, and identify consumables / spare parts / etc. requirements for service vehicles.
- Provide technical expertise to the SAM or their alternate.
- Complete detailed Field Service reports before leaving the client's site and submit weekly expenditures to the SAM or their alternate.
- Proactively prepare a bill of materials for preventive and corrective work.
- Proactively review assigned materials needed for maintenance actions, informing SAM / Purchasing if additional materials are required.
- As a point of reference for the customer, ensuring the plant's continued and proper operation.
- Maintain plant maintenance, ensuring it is kept in a clean and orderly condition.
- Willing to travel across different sites in Mexico.
Qualifications
You have a technical degree and have accumulated 3-5 years of maintenance experience.You can interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams well.You have knowledge of motor generators : mechanical and hydraulic.You know how to use tools for troubleshooting.You speak and understand English.You are available for on-call work.You are flexible and willing to travel. You are a professional, reliable, and curious person.You live in the state of Querétaro or a nearby area.
