Role overview : HSBC Global Service Center (GSC) seeks an experienced professional to join Corporate Services IT as a Senior Consultant Specialist, focusing on full-stack development with emphasis on .NET Core backend and front-end components using Angular, deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications.
• Collaborate with UX / UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Build scalable and secure front-end components using Angular frameworks.
• Integrate web applications with backend services and APIs hosted on GCP.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement CI / CD pipelines and manage deployments using GCP tools (e.g., Cloud Build, Cloud Run, App Engine).
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards across all web solutions.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack as needed.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, cloud engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Build and integrate microservices hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services like Cloud Run, App Engine, and Cloud Functions.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of backend systems.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI / CD pipeline setup using GCP-native tools.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Contribute to agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
