Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will lead the execution of ITJ’s marketing efforts across Commercial Growth, Talent Branding, and Strategic Initiatives like miCoach and ITJ Labs. You will manage a multidisciplinary team , coordinate project execution, prioritize initiatives, and ensure that marketing contributes measurable results — especially in pipeline growth, talent acquisition, and brand visibility.
While this role is not 100% technical , you will thrive by setting focus, empowering your team, aligning marketing with business goals, and owning the execution rhythm.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Execution & Leadership
- Translate company growth goals into actionable marketing plans.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the marketing team across :
- Growth Marketing (lead generation)
- Talent Branding & miCoach
- ITJ Labs visibility and Corporate Positioning
Team Leadership & Project Management
Manage and coach 5+ team members across Growth, Talent, Design, and Content.Create and maintain team roadmap, execution calendar, and campaign timelines.Allocate time and resources effectively between business areas.Growth Marketing
Oversee execution of lead generation campaigns, landing pages, paid media, webinars, etc.Coordinate with BD to ensure Marketing-Sales funnel alignment.Ensure use of HubSpot for tracking MQLs, lead stages, and follow-up sequences.Talent Branding
Support the development of ITJ’s employer brand positioning.Oversee miCoach marketing campaigns, assets, events, and academic relationships.Ensure brand alignment across content, events, and partnerships.Creative Oversight
Ensure design and multimedia output aligns with strategic goals.Review and approve content, collateral, and messaging when needed.Partnerships & Ecosystem Representation
Maintain ongoing relationships with Biocom, Tijuana EDC, San Diego EDC, UCSD , and other strategic ecosystem partners.Coordinate ITJ’s presence in community events, industry conferences, webinars, and ecosystem content .Lead in-house PR efforts :
Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media kits, and announcements .Build and maintain a media contact list of journalists and publications in tech, healthcare, and business.Act as the point of contact for media inquiries .Awards & Nominations : Research, apply, and manage ITJ’s participation in industry recognitions, rankings, and award programs that reinforce ITJ’s leadership in nearshore tech, healthcare technology, and talent development.Ensure consistent brand messaging across all ecosystem and PR activities to strengthen ITJ’s binational positioning.Who You Are
8+ years of experience in B2B marketing , with at least 4 years leading teams or complex projects.Background in technology, software services, or life sciences / healthcare sectors ; experience in cross-border or nearshore markets is required.Proven ability to translate business growth goals into pipeline-driving marketing initiatives .Skilled at managing multidisciplinary teams (growth, content, design, talent marketing) and ensuring alignment with business development and leadership.Excellent project management, prioritization, and communication skills, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Comfortable mentoring junior talent while also representing the company in ecosystem partnerships, industry events, and media opportunities .Adept at working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders across the U.S. and Mexico.What Success Looks Like
