A dynamic professional to manage end-to-end transportation for domestic and international large-scale power plant projects. This role includes preparing transportation proposals, executing shipments, and collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Procurement to develop logistics strategies that ensure cost-effective, timely, and trouble-free delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of transportation markets, experience in process improvement, and the ability to mentor colleagues while integrating innovative technologies and driving operational excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute transportation strategies for global power plant projects.
- Prepare proposals, secure competitive carrier bids, and manage shipment execution.
- Collaborate across departments to align logistics with project requirements.
- Monitor market trends and integrate new technologies and service providers.
- Support process improvements and mentor team members to enhance logistics expertise.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in project cargo, industrial transportation, and project logistics service providers.
- Demonstrated success and deep experience in project management, including preparation and execution across all modes of transportation, domestic and international logistics regulations, safety standards, and complex heavy haul transportation.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; self-driven and resourceful, able to work independently as well as collaboratively in group settings.
- In-depth knowledge of preferential trade agreement documentation, letters of credit, manifests, and transportation documents such as ocean bills of lading, AWB, and Incoterms.
- Extensive experience in planning and executing domestic and international logistics operations within regulated environments.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally; bilingual in Spanish and English.
