About the Role :
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will have direct impact on the company's competitive positioning and long-term growth across the region by driving business growth initiatives and forging strong partnerships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities to strengthen and expand the company's product portfolio.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis of local and international markets to uncover commercial opportunities and emerging trends.
- Assess innovative technologies, business models, and products aligned with corporate strategy.
- Develop comprehensive business cases, including financial analysis, profitability, and risk assessment.
- Lead technical, legal, commercial, and financial feasibility studies for new product introductions.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and networking events to build strategic partnerships.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of business development projects from opportunity assessment to product launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Patents, Commercial, and Business Intelligence) to ensure project success.
- Act as the key liaison with corporate headquarters for the identification and approval of new business opportunities.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field is required; Master's degree is preferred.Experience :
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, leading new business development, licensing, or strategic alliances.Language(s) :
Advanced English proficiency is required.Skills & Knowledge :
In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market.Understanding of regulatory and compliance processes.Strong financial and business case analysis skills.Excellent project management and negotiation capabilities.Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and CRM platforms.Work Location : México City.
