About the Role
The objective of this role is to plan, implement and supervise the physical and / or technological infrastructure of the organization, ensuring its proper functioning, security, availability and scalability so that can efficiently support the strategic objectives of the business, managing teams, budgets and suppliers to optimize resources and performance.
Role Responsibilities :
IT Operations & Infrastructure
Manage day-to-day IT services, including network, servers, endpoints, cloud systems, and SaaS platforms.
Ensure uptime, proactive monitoring, and adherence to SLAs across all systems.
Lead incident response, problem management, and root cause analysis for major outages or service disruptions.
Team & Vendor Management
Directly manage a distributed team of IT support engineers, system admins, and vendors.
Conduct regular performance reviews, skills development, and workload planning.
Oversee key vendor contracts, SLAs, and renewals.
IT Governance, Risk & Compliance
Implement and enforce cybersecurity standards, data privacy protocols, and audit controls (, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX).
Collaborate with InfoSec and Risk teams on audits and compliance initiatives.
Project Leadership
Own delivery of key IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, tool rollouts, and office expansions.
Work cross-functionally with Engineering, HR, and Finance for technology enablement initiatives.
Budgeting & Cost Optimization
Prepare and manage annual IT budgets and forecasts.
Identify opportunities to optimize license usage, reduce OPEX, and improve ROI on tools and services.

Connectivity : Warehouse Interface and Cloud Connectivity
Support : Win / Mac / Printers / Cell Phones / Meeting Rooms
Administration of Servers :
Operating Systems (Updates, Software Installation, Configuration, DC and Admin Users)
Backups (Databases, Folders, and OS Servers)
For ERP BAAN users, requests are submitted to IT first and then to the Systems area
User Deletions (BAAN and SAD)
Payments to Suppliers
Vivaro, BBS Red, Convergia, Telmex, Telcel, Linux, RICOH
Payments to Support Systems Suppliers (EDICOM, SMB, AXOSNET, QLIK, Supernomina, NOTION, Concur, Fixed Assets, BENKIO)
Contracts
Linux, RICOH, VIVARO, CONVERGIA
Asset Renewal
Computers, Cell Phones, Printers, Screens, and Accessories
Telecommunications Administration
Support and Maintenance of the VPN with the warehouse
Technical Support for Colombia
Communication with the global group regarding software updates, policies, and any other guidelines
Experience, Skills & Qualifications :
Essential
Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8–12 years of IT experience, with 5+ years in a managerial or lead role in enterprise environments.
Fluent in English - C1
Knowledge of : Windows / Mac / Linux environments Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Networking (LAN / WAN / VPN / SD-WAN) Enterprise tools (M365, Google Workspace, Jira, ServiceNow) Experience working across multiple time zones and global regions. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
