Job Description
Cost accountant is responsible for the analysis and accuracy of product cost, price and usage variance as well as the integrity of inventory accounts, ensuring product costing – pricing is based on accurate product costs, measures such as scrap, purchase price and material usage variances. This information allows management to take actions as necessary to achieve organizational goals, drive yearly standard price set‑up, and load new materials and products standard prices.
