OverviewAs a Gas Turbine Commissioning Specialist, you will spend the majority of your time traveling to international power plant sites to optimize and troubleshoot large gas turbines. Your primary goal is to ensure smooth project execution from planning to completion.
- Responsibilities
- Tune and troubleshoot Siemens Energy large gas turbines, including the SGT6-5000F, SGT6-6000G, and SGT6-8000H frames.
- Work closely with the project team from planning to completion of service projects, providing start-up, commissioning, operations, and troubleshooting support.
- Lead and supervise a team of I&C technicians to implement project scopes as needed.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a field service commissioning and combustion tuning engineer.
- Technical knowledge on troubleshooting, combustion tuning, and commissioning of large gas turbines.
- Teamwork, results-oriented, risk management, adaptability, and flexibility in an environment with changing requirements and priorities.
