Overview

We are seeking a Cloud application architect to design and develop cloud-native applications, APIs, and microservices with a focus on Azure-based solutions, deployment, monitoring, and operation automation.

Responsibilities

Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
Develop cloud-native applications and integrations using Azure services such as Functions, Logic Apps, API Manager, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, Storage, and Caching.
Deploy, monitor, and automate operations in Azure (App Service, AKS, VM, DevOps, etc.).
Work with DevOps pipelines and manage code repositories (Git / Bitbucket) and release processes.
Lead or contribute to API design using RAML or OpenAPI Specification.
Experience with containerized microservices (Docker or similar) and serverless architectures (Azure Functions; AWS optional).
Design SPA applications with front-end considerations (React 18 familiarity is a plus).
Work with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) including writing stored procedures and performance tuning.

Qualifications

Background in .NET or Java; hands-on with .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, EF Core, ASP.NET MVC, REST API design and implementation.

3+ years of experience designing RESTful HTTP services.

Experience designing APIs with RAML or OpenAPI Specification.

4+ years of experience developing microservices using Docker or other containerized platforms.

3-5 years of experience in serverless architecture with Azure Functions (AWS exposure optional).

Strong experience in cloud-native app development and integration services (Function, Logic Apps, API Manager, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, Storage, Caching, etc.).

Strong experience in Azure deployments, monitoring, and operation automation (App Service, AKS, VM, DevOps, etc.).

Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and code repository release management.

Good knowledge of designing SPA applications using React 18.

5+ years of experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including stored procedures, performance tuning, and handling deadlocks and data locking scenarios.

Total IT experience typically 14–15+ years.
