The Program Manager manage the activities of all Departments / Services to provide customers with the desired deliverables (i.e. products or services), on schedule, at the required level of quality and in accordance with applicable contractual requirements and standards.
He / she participates in the Program from Kick-Off to Closure, and acts as the interface between the customer and the organization assigned to the program
- Internal : Manages in a transversal way (functional link) the different department / sites of the company (Design Office, Industrialization, Technical Preparation, Production, Supply Chain (Planning, Supply, Logistics, etc.)
- External : Customer (technical and commercial negotiations)
The Program Manager is accountable to program profitability.
MISSION AND ACTIVITIES
Initialize and Structure Program Management
Conducts contract reviews with the support of the Sales and Contracts Manager.Ensures that Demand is reliable and accurate within the framework of the MRPCreate and then updates the Program Management plan and Program Organization when the contract has been signed.Creates the Profit Center and linked WBS with the support Finance DepartmentDraws up budgets with concerned stakeholders and Turnover and Margin forecastsCascades budget objectives to each Department / service thanks to work package sheets (or assimilate), in order to perform the contract within budget and in accordance with the agreed scheduling and quality requirements.As part of the Sales & Operations process, the Program Manager validates and then submits Forecasts.Manage Program Multifunctional Team
Defines objectives and ensures that Multifunctional teams adopt them.Mobilizes, encourages and promotes a sense of responsibility among work package managers and their teams.Coordinate and challenge stakeholders in order to achieve objectives.Leads regular progress meetings with the Program Multifunctional Team, to track objectives relating to technical progress, quality, planning, risk management, etc.Participate in weekly operational reviews between Plant and Program Directors (OPWR)Monitor, Control and Reports Program Performance
Monitors and analyses working hours and expenditure on OTPs in order to control program costs.Uses appropriate performance indicators to ensure that the program is managed effectively.Validates progress achieved with regard to the schedule, quality and customer milestones.Participates in conjunction with the Administrative and Financial Department in analytical reviews.Communicates regularly with the Program team, superiors and Management in relation to his / her program, via MFT Program reviews, PWR and PSWR.Triggers the Program Closure Meeting, review the results vs objective of the program (technical, economic and human).Performs administrative follow-up for his / her contract (orders, invoices, correspondence, disputes, etc.).Manage program P&L
Ensures the follow-up of invoices (turnover), invoices to be issued (integrations in advance of phase), costs (hours attributable to all business contributing to operations in its division, costs of raw materials, logistics), amendments (claims / extra-works)Ensures a maximum level of adherence to the Business Plan / Budget in Revenue and GM and that Financial Risks and Opportunities (Income, Gross Margin, and Cash) are quantified, leveled in terms of probability and communicated on a weekly basis towards its Head of the Programs Department.Prepares, for his / her Program Stream Manager / BU Director, the monthly financial pre-closing meetings on the perimeter of the Programs that he / she manages.Manage the program contract lifecycle
Remains informed and approves actions that are liable to affect quality, cost or deadlines for his / her program or the contract.Makes arbitration for his / her program.Negotiates directly with the client or with the support of project managers and contracts previously encrypted Extra works. Regarding claims to suppliers, relies on the Purchasing department.Customer relationship Management
Develops customer intimacy and ensure that customers are satisfied with quality and schedule performance as well as compliance with contractual requirements and standards.Leads major or project milestone meetings with the customer.Manage or Participate on Request for Proposal
May be periodically entrusted with the mission of Request for Proposal (RFQ).Either be responsible for managing the response to the call for tenders and coordinating the various businesses so that they provide the response elements specific to their business (studies, industrialization, etc.);Alternatively, participate in the constitution of the RFQ as a Program Business Line.In all cases, collaborates with the KAM & Legal Sales and Contracts department and provides them with the elements necessary for the constitution of the technical and / or commercial proposal.Carries out the Program Management Plan and participates in the organization of the programProgram Managers engage in the following activities :
