Senior Product Test Engineer

PRODUCT TEST ENGINEER

Chihuahua, Mexico

This Product Test Engineer will be responsible for final product validation of new and existing Android and Embedded battery service products. Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

A Day In The Life

• Manually test and verify products (both SW & HW-SW interaction) to ensure new and existing products meet customer expectations.
• Work within a distributed scrum team to develop new software and products.
• Project estimation for test efforts.
• Prepare test documentation including test strategy, test plan, test cases, and test reports.
• Provide status reports on test execution progress and problem resolution.
• Develop automation of test flows.
• Support and track the release of software to the field.
• Ability to develop scripts / tools to enable more efficient testing.
• Demonstrate a desire for continuous improvement and advancing quality.
• Drive root cause analysis for software and product issues.
• Experience using AI to automate test flows and processes is a plus.
