Descripción del trabajoBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 3–4 years of experience as a Product Engineer, preferably within the metal-mechanic or automotive industry. Strong knowledge of various manufacturing processes including press brake, laser cutting, stamping, rolling, punching, TIG, and MIG welding. Experience creating BOMs, routings, and engineering changes (ECOs). Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken). Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
The role of a Product Engineer is pivotal in the development and manufacturing of products within our metal-mechanic industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Documentation : Develop and maintain accurate product documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings to ensure seamless production processes.
- Engineering Changes : Effectively manage engineering changes (ECOs) and guarantee timely implementation across production lines to minimize disruptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product design, manufacturability, and cost efficiency by implementing innovative solutions.
- Material Specifications : Define material specifications, components, and implement deviation management to ensure high-quality products.
- Continuous Improvement : Support continuous improvement and new product introduction projects to drive business growth and excellence.
