Senior Salesforce Developer (Alajuela, Costa Rica)
Smith+Nephew is seeking a dedicated Salesforce Developer to empower our business operations team. You will create custom software applications on the Salesforce platform to meet our requirements for client management and other daily operations. You will also integrate Salesforce with existing systems, ensuring data accuracy and security, and provide technical support when required. The ideal candidate has a proven background in developing and customizing Salesforce applications, as well as experience in designing and implementing complex solutions.
What will you be doing?
- Hands-on experience in Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Workflow & Approvals, Validation Rules, Process Builder, Dashboards, Reports, Custom Objects, Batch Apex, Lightning Components.
- Create custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications.
- Participate in the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Support, maintain, and improve existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality.
- Create and maintain integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.
- Collaborate with customers and other developers to identify and implement system improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce security and development standards.
- Analyze deployment artifacts for Sprint releases and translate them into deployable bundles using Salesforce toolsets.
- Collaborate with teams and support emerging technologies to achieve objectives.
- Coordinate Salesforce release activities and end-to-end deployment planning with multi-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and other technologies.
- Produce documentation such as user guides, release notes, and design documents to support company needs.
- Work with technical teams to gather and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.
- Identify and resolve issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.
- Stay updated with new Salesforce features and functionalities and propose standard processes to improve existing implementations.
Location
The candidate can be based in Costa Rica, Colombia, or Mexico.
What will you need to be successful?
4–6 years of demonstrable experience in Salesforce software development.Proficient understanding of Salesforce administration, including Salesforce Lightning framework and Sales and / or Service Cloud.Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development technologies.Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields.Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.Certifications
