Asset Manager Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support our accounting and controllership operations in a complex financial services environment.

The ideal candidate has 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, combining public accounting and enterprise controllership backgrounds, strong technical accounting acumen, and demonstrated expertise in Workday Financials.

Key Responsibilities :

• Closing Process Lead : Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Loan Accounting Oversight : Ensure accurate and timely recognition of servicing revenue, interest income, deferred fees, and amortization related to loan portfolios.
• Financial Statement Support : Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements under U.S. GAAP, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external audit requirements.
• Process Improvement : Drive process improvement and automation leveraging Workday Financials and AI-enabled tools for reconciliation, reporting, and exception management.
• Team Collaboration : Collaborate cross-functionally with our teams and client stakeholders to support controllership, financial operations, and regulatory reporting.
• Jr. Accountant Supervision : Supervise and develop junior accountants, providing coaching and quality review of deliverables.
• Operating Model Design : Participate in the design and execution of transition and steady-state operating models for our outsourced finance function.
• Workflow Optimization : Identify and implement opportunities to standardize and streamline accounting workflows within Workday and other systems.
