Overview

Technical Advisor (Sinaloa) at PPG. The role focuses on executing training and technical service programs for the PPG Comex network, end customers, and internal staff. You will provide specialized support in coatings through hands-on training, customer guidance, and maintenance of tools and facilities, contributing to national and divisional sales goals. This position is located in Sinaloa.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions on coating application to customers, internal staff, and store personnel, at Integral Training Centers or customer-designated facilities
  • Provide guidance on product selection, application techniques, and performance, addressing questions and recommending technical solutions
  • Document relevant information, recommendations, and assessments regarding product performance in the field
  • Manage the maintenance and availability of application tools, vehicles, and training spaces
  • Participate in activities such as product testing, technical visits, and coordination with Marketing and Manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with professional license in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture (non-negotiable due to CONOCER certification requirements)
  • 6 months of experience in technical roles (preferably field-based)
  • Technical knowledge of coating application and technical customer support
  • Basic English (ability to interpret technical texts and videos)
  • Time availability to travel
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive standard and automatic vehicles
