Security Systems Engineer

Join to apply for the Security Systems Engineer role at BRP.Ensure the optimal, safe, and continuous operation of electronic security systems (Access Control, CCTV, and Monitoring) with a focus on the Genetec Security Center platform.

This is achieved through preventive maintenance, project supervision, interdepartmental coordination, and continuous improvement of technological security processes.Your Key ResponsibilitiesManage, configure, and maintain Genetec Security Center software, including cameras, doors, readers, licenses, and events.Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on Access Control Systems (ACS) and CCTV as per the established plan.Coordinate effectively with the Security Monitoring Room, ensuring continuous device operability and incident response.Verify doors and cameras daily, ensuring proper operation and physical security.

Provide technical training to system operators on proper platform usage.Maintain collaboration with Telecommunications, IT Infrastructure (servers), and Facilities teams.Supervise security technology projects, ensuring timely delivery aligned with BRP quality standards.Apply best practices for technical documentation, backups, and change control.Ensure compliance with internal policies, international standards, and BRP's Quality Policy.

Participate in audits and propose process improvements.Maintain accurate inventory records of security systems equipment and assets.

Follow BRP values.English B1 proficiency.Skills / Contributions for the AreaExperience with Genetec Suite Software.IT experience, including technical skills in ACS, CCTV, hardware failure detection, and basic knowledge of servers, storage, and networks.EducationBachelor's degree in IT Engineering or related field.ExperienceMinimum 2+ years in Information Technologies.LanguagesFluent in written and verbal Spanish.Advanced English (minimum 80%).
