Our team is collaborative, quality-driven, and committed to delivering accurate work on schedule.The RoleWe are seeking a Commercial PV Designer with strong structural drawing and detailing experience.

This position will play a key role in producing and reviewing drawings for commercial solar projects.This is a remote role, but it is also a professional, fast-paced position.

Our dedicated team collaborates closely, and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality designs within deadlines.ResponsibilitiesProduce commercial PV system designs, including layouts, permit sets, and construction drawingsDevelop 30% interconnection sets, 60% permit sets, and 90% construction sets for commercial PV projectsPrepare and review structural drawings and details for racking, mounting, and canopy systemsCoordinate with structural and electrical engineers to ensure designs are code-compliant and buildableSupport EV charging station design work and assist with T&D-related design when neededMaintain quality and deadline commitments, even during surge workload periodsProvide guidance and, if experienced, training support for junior designersQualifications3+ years of experience in commercial PV system designStrong background in structural drawing and detailing for PV or related constructionExperience developing interconnection, permit, and construction plan setsFamiliarity with AHJ / utility permitting requirements for commercial projectsExperience with EV charging station design (preferred)T&D background a plus (not required but highly valued)Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or Civil 3D a plus)Strong attention to quality, deadlines, and teamworkWhy Join UsWork with a team that values precision, accountability, and professional growthExposure to commercial PV, EV charging, and T&D projectsCompetitive pay and benefitsOpportunity to mentor and grow as we expand our commercial design capabilities
