Job Overview

Our client is an international subcontractor, part of one of the world's largest and well-respected main contractors operating on civil engineering and construction projects around the globe.

We are seeking a talented Business Development professional from a Civil Engineering or Hydraulics background to be based in our Mexico City office, with frequent travel across South America.

Key Responsibilities :

• Promote patented civil engineering technology to public entities, engineering companies, and regulatory entities within the hydropower industry.
• Develop sales territory, maintain existing clients, and create new ones.
• Detect new prospects at the early stages of the design process.
• Maintain / store all necessary information related to the market, industry, and clients, to propose plans of action for growing market share.
• Prepare technical and financial proposals in conjunction with the technical office.
• Manage selling and / or marketing activities to close deals.
• Maintain high standards of integrity and ethics when representing the company.
• Liaise with subsidiaries to boost market share.
