Databricks Project Manager (Remote - Latam)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead Databricks-based data engineering and analytics projects. In this role, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, work closely with data scientists and engineers, and ensure successful delivery of data‑driven solutions aligned with business objectives. You will manage ETL / ELT pipelines, optimize workflows, and support cloud integration while driving operational efficiency. This is a fully remote position in a dynamic environment where your work directly contributes to transforming raw data into actionable insights and measurable business impact.

Accountabilities

• Manage and oversee Databricks projects, including the design, deployment, and optimization of ETL / ELT pipelines using Apache Spark.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams of data engineers, scientists, and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Optimize performance of notebooks and workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring processes.
• Support ML model deployment and integration within Databricks environments.
• Ensure effective integration of Databricks with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Maintain clear project documentation and track progress against milestones.
