As a Network Planning Team Lead (m / f / d) you will lead a Network Planning team - the architect of our business, collaborating closely with commercial functions, business development and operations to design the network, manage timetables, and drive efficiencies.

Mexico City
office, hybrid model.
About the Role
Lead your team to design, develop, and scale a robust and profitable bus network across the United States and Mexico, balancing travel demand, profitability, and sustainability
Work closely with business partners, revenue management, and other teams to plan and implement FlixBus lines, ensuring smooth line starts and operations
Analyse data on market trends, competition, passenger movement, and viability to define the regional network, optimize bus lines to meet customer travel demand, and ensure a scalable, profitable bus network by balancing costs and revenue
You have strong bias for action - you analyze internal data and seek data from ground ops, bus partners, customer feedback and business development teams to refine the network and make quick incremental changes to get it to most optimal state
Build, train and lead a high-performing team, fostering the positive culture of accountability & collaboration and healthy work environment of our Berlin HQ is maintained and fostered in the growing Mexico City Hub
Act as a Local Ambassador and will be taking responsibility for transferring knowledge from our Global HQ to the local teams.
Your role is crucial in ensuring alignment with our mission while fostering a deep understanding of our practices, values, and standards at the local level
About You
Bachelor's / master's degree in business, transportation, urban planning, geography, economics or a related field
5–8+ years of experience in transportation / supply planning, project management, or a related field in fast-paced business-driven environments
1–3 years of leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to lead diverse teams, manage projects effectively, and nurture talent
Deep understanding of the North American transportation landscape, including socio-geographical dynamics and market specifics
Strong analytical and modelling skills to tackle complex transportation and planning challenges
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring alignment and collaboration across diverse groups
Organized and autonomous, have a team and customer-oriented working style and consider yourself a travel enthusiast with a proactive attitude towards challenges.
