The Materials Manager position is responsible for overseeing the planning, procurement, and inventory management processes to ensure uninterrupted production and timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of material planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize supply risks.
- Ensure production schedules are met by securing material availability on time and in full.
- Develop sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve supplier relationships.
- Implement inventory management policies balancing efficiency, cost, and customer service.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, obsolescence, OTIF, and forecast accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders for effective supply chain planning.
- Drive continuous improvement projects in logistics, warehousing, and procurement to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable legal requirements.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (Master's degree preferred).7+ years of experience in materials, logistics, or supply chain management within the manufacturing industry.Proven experience leading cross-functional teams.Strong knowledge of ERP / MRP systems.Expertise in inventory management, procurement processes, and international trade.Advanced English skills required for corporate and international customer interaction.Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Benefits :
