About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for data center equipment supply planning for sustaining and new products, interpreting the data center demand signal and translating it to a supply, capacity and inventory plan for equipment to drive optimal planning decisions. You will work closely with Data Center Supply Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Fulfillment, Commodity Management, and Contract Manufacturing teams to develop and oversee the execution of an accurate demand, supply and inventory plan through the product life cycle. You will also work with partners to establish clear reporting around constraints and capacity risks for the assigned products.
In this role, you will apply your knowledge of supply chain principles and problem solving to key planning processes. You will establish and drive metrics, drive process and system improvements to accomplish efficiency and scalability goals, and influence Google's rapidly growing data center infrastructure supply chain.
