Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee day-to-day activities of audit engagements, ensuring timely and accurate results .
- Review audit documentation prepared by associates, providing coaching, feedback, and guidance.
- Coordinate client interactions and ensure smooth communication between engagement teams and clients .
- Support the design and execution of audit approaches and procedures in line with KPMG methodology and regulatory standards .
- Identify issues, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements, escalating them when necessary .
- Mentor, train, and supervise junior professionals, fostering a culture of learning and accountability .
- Serve as performance manager for a group of professionals, conducting reviews, delivering feedback, and supporting career development .
- Contribute to standardization and optimization of audit processes across clients and industries .
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3–5 years of relevant audit experience in public accounting, preferably with Big 4 or large firms .Strong technical knowledge of audit procedures, and accounting standards. US GAAP preferred.Demonstrated supervisory experience with ability to manage and mentor junior staff.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly convey technical concepts.Strong project management, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.Proficiency in MS Office and audit-related applications.Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing business priorities, including during busy season.
