Manager, Commodity Management & Sourcing - Professional Services

About The Role

As a Strategic Commodity Manager, you will play a key role in driving sourcing excellence and supplier performance across assigned categories. Your leadership will directly impact operational efficiency, cost optimization, and supplier reliability, contributing to Carrier’s global success.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing strategic leadership and oversight for assigned commodities to maximize business value
• Conducting operational and spend analysis, developing and executing annual sourcing strategies
• Leading supplier negotiations, performance management, and operational support
• Awarding contracts within spending limits and identifying new qualified sources of supply
• Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve strategies
• Analyzing supplier operations to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance
• Developing strategic plans for commodities or key suppliers
• Managing relationships with one or more strategic accounts within assigned commodities
• Leading the sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature
• Ensuring supplier performance meets delivery, quality, and cost expectations
