Descripción del trabajoJoin the Quality team at Stellantis as a Product Quality Engineer (PQE) at the Toluca Complex. This strategic role spans multiple commodities within the entire vehicle architecture and offers the opportunity to contribute to transforming the automotive industry. You will lead quality systems and programs, provide technical support to both hourly and salaried personnel, collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all functional areas.Protect product design intent while resolving manufacturing constraints.Support Model Year (MY) Launch from digital build through physical builds, including quality planning, issue tracking, and containment for critical issues.Provide technical leadership for cross-functional teams in applying quality initiatives.Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for root cause analysis and corrective actions.Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and standards for plant personnel.Drive process variation reduction and advanced problem-solving to mitigate risks.Warranty : Analyze customer claims, lead teams for issue resolution, deploy information to the plant floor for containment, track trends, and prepare monthly reports for management.Engineering Changes & Deviations : Evaluate impact of product changes on plant operations (installation, ergonomics, safety, tooling, obsolescence), coordinate implementation, and lead discussions for robust solutions.Global Issue Management (GIM) : Submit and track warranty issues, gather evidence, and ensure closure within 48 hours.New Product Launch : Manage product introduction, containment, and issue identification; lead RCA efforts and present updates to top management.Internal Plant KPIs : Manage issue lists (PDCA / Pareto), lead root cause analysis, implement solutions, and report status to plant management.Additional Support : Intervene in critical cases (yard, PRI), lead Q-teams, apply escalation processes, and present status in recurring meetings.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in automotive assembly / manufacturing.Proficiency in English (written and spoken) with strong communication and negotiation skills.Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint; effective presentation / public speaking abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends.Self-motivated and results-driven.Experience in design, testing, and assembly.Green belt / Black belt certification is desirableKnowledge of Stellantis systems (CN, IAA, STV, EBOM, Quantic, Palantir, PFS, FIS, GIMS, QNA).Ability to coach and mentor others.Experience in unionized environments.
