Delivery Manager - LATAM at Global Payments Inc.
Overview
Delivery Manager - LATAM role coordinating project delivery within the LATAM business unit, defining and scoping delivery roadmaps and associated components, developing timelines, solution specifications, identifying and securing resources, planning budgets and milestones, establishing decision-making structures, and managing execution by development factory teams with post-implementation evaluation of outcomes and metrics.
Responsibilities
- Manages project delivery of varying size and complexity within the LATAM business unit; defines, scopes, and manages delivery roadmaps and project components; develops timelines, solution specifications, resource plans, budgets, timetables, and major milestones; defines authority structures and decision processes; leads execution by development factory teams; conducts post-implementation evaluation of outcomes and metrics.
- Plans and structures work activities for the team, monitors progress and results, and provides guidance as team members carry out work activities.
- Manages multiple systems of varying size / complexity and the integration / conversion of Global Payments products for the new portfolio; defines / creates new processes to support the converting portfolio; manages existing and new integrations.
- Accountable to Executive sponsors for governance, scope, schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements.
- Builds strong relationships with engineering, product, and other partners during Program Implementation.
- Leads, plans, executes, controls, and reports on complex delivery efforts and supports planning, execution, control, and reporting for complex projects within product delivery goals.
- Provides governance over Roadmap plan, scope, schedule, and cost to ensure quality and client satisfaction; collaborates with client and Global Payments multi-workstream plans.
- Performs analysis and communications with a broad range of stakeholders, including executive steering committees and Global Payments senior leadership.
- Leads and influences program teams across departments and divisions to support delivery of complex projects.
- Supports a progressive, productive, and profitable culture across a complex roadmap; ensures adherence to Global Payments standards and SDLCs for documentation, roadmaps, planning, LOEs / scope, and PIF process.
- Manages change control of key project assets (scope, requirements, plan, product specifications, contracts, code, documentation) for complex projects; uses metrics to monitor progress and identify / resol / log critical issues and decisions.
- Ensures timely and accurate communications of status, including risk assessments; plans program updates and prioritizes risks; facilitates resolution of issues and conflicts; balances scope, time, cost, and quality to manage risk.
- Gathers project billing for approval according to client contracts and department standards; creates, manages, and reports the project budget for FTE, travel, and other revenue / expenses.
- Uses applicable management tools to ensure engineering methodology practices are followed for complex projects; defines key roles and responsibilities and ensures decision-making at the lowest reasonable level.
- Produces executive-level updates and briefings for senior leadership; takes ownership of project implementations from initiation to completion.
