Role Description
Our client seeks a full-time on-site role located in Tecate, Baja California for an HR Generalist to support their fast growing business operations. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, implementing HR programs and policies in strong coordination with the broader Human Resources team in the USA. The HR Generalist will ensure compliance with local law, provide guidance, foster high levels of employee engagement, and drive HR excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a primary HR contact for employees in Tecate, Mexico.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Drive a highly engaged workforce in partnership with the leadership team.
- Assist with benefits and compensation programs.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate reports as needed.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives.
- Partner with legal and the broader HR team to update policies and procedures.
- Facilitate cross-border communication and cultural alignment.
- Partner with the Accounting team on payroll matters.
- Perform administrative functions for the HR Team as needed.
- Act as office manager in partnership with the local manager.
- Perform other duties as required.

Strong background in Human Resources (HR) and HR ManagementExperience in implementing and maintaining HR PoliciesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentExperience with HR software and tools is a plusBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or similar industry setting.Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required.Strong knowledge Mexican labor laws and HR practices.Familiarity with Mexican IMSS, INFONAVIT, and payroll regulations.
