Procurement Manager

Location : Querétaro, MexicoCompany : Our client, a leading electric motor and equipment manufacturing plantRole OverviewOur client is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing and procurement activities for their new manufacturing facility in Mexico.

This role will serve as the key liaison between the Mexico factory and suppliers in China, ensuring smooth communication, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of materials.Key ResponsibilitiesManage procurement operations for the Mexico factory, with a strong focus on coordination with China-based suppliers.Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and quality materials.Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support production needs.Monitor supply chain performance, ensuring compliance with company standards and delivery schedules.Provide regular reporting and updates to management on procurement activities.RequirementsMinimum 1 year of procurement experience in a manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of cross-border sourcing, ideally between Mexico and China.Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (Spanish is a plus).
