Description
The role will be supporting the team through the creation of executive reports, dashboards, and presentations using advanced Excel and Power BI tools. They will also monitor official sources, assist in ad-hoc analyses, and contribute to strategic decision-making with data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze macroeconomic, demographic, and insurance market data across Latin American countries.
- Prepare executive reports and comparative briefs with key indicators and insights.
- Monitor official institutions and data sources (e.g., AMIS, CNSF, SUSEP, Fasecolda, CMF, SBS, APESeg).
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using Excel and / or Power BI.
- Support the Business Development team with presentations and ad-hoc analysis for senior management.
General Knowledge / Competencies
Basic knowledge of Python (pandas, numpy) or SQL.Strong analytical writing skills in both English and Spanish.Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, lookup formulas, scenarios).Knowledge of applied statistics and financialAbility to process and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources.Web scraping (Beautiful Soup / Selenium), OCR for PDF extraction.Version control (Git / GitHub) and data documentation best practices.Requirements
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in economics. (only students).Healthcare experience a plus.Experience
1+ year in similar positions is a plus.Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.Basic knowledge in the health insurance industry
