Contract Administrator

PRIMARY PURPOSE : The Contract Administrator will direct all activities related to contracts and execution of contracts for the company related to purchase / sale of equipment, materials, products, and services. Individual will process all internal and external paperwork as it relates to our supplier contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Direct activities concerned with contracts for purchase / sale of equipment, materials, products, or services and responsible for ensuring full execution of contracts are within company guidelines
  • Examines performance requirements, delivery schedules, and estimates of costs of material, equipment, and production to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Reviews bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements and determines acceptable bids
  • Gatekeeper to ensure all contracts have necessary information per company policy
  • Request and maintain insurance certificates and necessary bonds required
  • Requests or approves amendments to or extensions of contracts
  • Advises planning and production departments of contractual rights and obligations
  • Coordinate work of sales department and coordination department to implement fulfillment of contracts
  • Act as a liaison between company and supplier
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent sales & customer service attitude
  • Candidates must be able to read and interpret contracts in English and communicate effectively in both written and spoken form.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative; possess strong sense of ownership
  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 years’ experience in a professional office environment
  • Contract Management experience
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
  • Advanced proficiency in English is required.
