Electrical Designer Role Overview

The main goal of an Electrical Design Engineer is to create and refine electromechanical innovations in CAD, while ensuring alignment with global electrical standards.

Develop new electrical and mechanical designs that can be standardized for use across the engineering team.

Collaborate with electrical and automation engineers to prepare project-specific drawing packages.

Technically approve internal and external subcontractor products related to developed designs and solutions.

A Day in the Life of an Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will start your day / week by participating in a team stand-up meeting. This meeting allows everyone to discuss ongoing projects, challenges, and any necessary adjustments.

Following the team meeting, you will engage in compose reviews to validate design performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you will conduct calculations and simulations to validate design performance.

You will also engage with clients to discuss project requirements, provide updates on progress, and gather feedback.

As part of your responsibilities, you will prepare and update technical documentation, including design specifications and compliance checklists.
