Sr Advanced Cloud Developer

Overview

The Senior Advanced Cloud Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications and services that support Honeywell’s Smart Energy platforms. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions tailored to utility and energy sector needs, including Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and grid modernization.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop cloud-native applications using Azure
• Lead the design of microservices, APIs, and data pipelines for smart energy platforms
• Implement CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated deployments
• Ensure cloud solutions meet cybersecurity and compliance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership and innovation
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
